Mica: is a rock-forming mineral that exhibits a hexagonal flaky crystal form and is one of the primary rock-forming minerals. The internal structure of mica crystals is layered, resulting in flaky crystals, predominantly in the form of hexagonal flakes.

Mica powderIt is a non-metallic mineral containing multiple components, primarily SiO₂, with a content generally around 49%, and Al₂O₃ content at approximately 30%. Mica powder exhibits excellent elasticity, toughness, insulation properties, and strong adhesion, making it a superior additive.

In paints, it can reduce the damage caused by ultraviolet rays or other light and heat to the paint film, enhance the coating's resistance to acids, alkalis, and electrical insulation, improve the coating's frost resistance, corrosion resistance, toughness, and density, and reduce the coating's permeability.
