Equipment Performance Features:

Air classifierWorking principle:

The classifier, dust collector, and induced draft fan form a classification system. Under the suction force of the fan, materials move rapidly from the feed inlet at the lower end of the classifier into the classification zone along with the rising airflow. In this zone, the strong centrifugal force generated by the high-speed rotating classification vortex separates coarse and fine materials. Fine particles meeting the required particle size pass through the gaps between the classifier wheel blades and are collected by a cyclone separator or dust collector. Coarse particles, carrying some fine particles, lose their velocity upon colliding with the wall, descend along the cylinder wall to the secondary air inlet, and undergo intense elutriation by the secondary air, which separates coarse and fine particles. The fine particles rise to the classification zone for secondary classification, while the coarse particles descend to the discharge port for removal.

Inert Gas Protection Air Classifier ZJ-DBF

The nitrogen-protected airflow classifier uses nitrogen as the working medium for crushing, operates in a closed-loop cycle, and does not generate heat during the crushing process. The nitrogen-protected airflow pulverizer and classifier system consists of a nitrogen generator, gas storage tank, nitrogen-specific compressor, freeze dryer, pulverizer and classifier main unit, high-efficiency cyclone collector, dust collector, nitrogen purity testing and replenishment system, and an electrical control system.

This equipment is configured with a two-stage classifier, allowing the product particle size to be adjusted arbitrarily. Metal powders are highly reactive and prone to temperature rise during the crushing process, which can lead to explosions. Therefore, metal powders cannot be crushed and can only be classified after atomization. For safety reasons, Sichuan Zhongjin's nitrogen-protected airflow classifiers are mostly controlled by PLC programming to minimize human operation and control factors. The control cabinet can be placed in a separate control room at a distance. Automatic packaging machines are used for packaging and discharging, while on-site monitoring is conducted via surveillance cameras, enabling fully unmanned operation.

The ZJ-DBF nitrogen-protected airflow classifier mainly has the following features:

1. Isolate oxygen. Use nitrogen to replace oxygen in a closed-loop circulation operation to maintain the basic stability of the oxygen content inside the airflow classifier.

2. Control the concentration of gas and powder. The feeding speed can be arbitrarily set, and dead corners inside the equipment are eliminated during operation. Meanwhile, the high-speed airflow within the equipment drives and scours the powder, preventing it from accumulating in the pipelines.

3. Circulating air cooling. Since the entire system is a closed-loop circulation system, the addition of cooling design can effectively reduce safety hazards caused by prolonged operation or operation in high-temperature environments.

4. Special handling for explosion-proof and emergency shutdown to minimize the risk factor to the lowest level.

5. The classification particle size can be arbitrarily adjusted between 3 microns and 20 microns, with a fine powder pass rate of up to 97%.


◆ General Applications:

The ZJ-F/ZJ-DBF series precision air classifiers are capable of classifying materials that cannot be processed on conventional sorting equipment. They are particularly suitable for processing products with strict particle size requirements and narrow particle size distribution, such as ground calcium carbonate, kaolin, talc powder, barite powder, copier toner, coatings, mica, graphite, auxin, aluminum hydroxide, and others.

◆ High-purity Applications:

The ZJ-F/ZJ-DBF series precision airflow classifiers are suitable for materials with extremely strict impurity content requirements or those highly sensitive to iron, while also meeting the demands for particle size and particle size distribution. Typical materials include phosphors, titanium dioxide, starch, silica gel, aluminum, copper, luminescent powders, and various high-purity pigments.

The ZJ-F/ZJ-DBF series precision airflow classifiers can perform ultra-fine classification of hard materials with a Mohs hardness of 7 or above. The application of a vertical vortex classifier minimizes equipment wear. The rotational speed of the classification wheel is adjustable, and the crushing parameters can be optimized. By combining multiple classifiers, narrow-band classification across several particle size ranges can be achieved in a single pass. Typical products include diamond, silicon carbide, boron carbide, tungsten carbide, special ceramics, and emery.
