Synthesis Methods of Hexagonal Boron Nitride Nanosheets
Method for synthesizing hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets, comprising the following steps: (1) mixing boron nitride nanospheres with a metal chloride and stirring for 0.5-3 hours to obtain a mixed powder; (2) under a protective atmosphere, heating the mixed powder obtained in step (1) to 600-1400°C at a heating rate of 1-30°C/min, then maintaining the temperature for 1-6 hours for heat treatment, followed by cooling to room temperature under a protective atmosphere, and washing the resulting product to obtain hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets. The present invention, by introducing a metal chloride as a mineralizer, enables the transformation of hexagonal boron nitride nanospheres into boron nitride nanosheets at a relatively low temperature (600~700°C). The preparation temperature adopted in the present invention is approximately 1000°C lower than that of existing methods for preparing boron nitride nanosheets, thereby significantly reducing energy consumption during the preparation process.
