Barium sulfate for PVC profiles
Structure and Features:
Chemically synthesized microcrystalline barium sulfate, with a particle size D50 between 0.8μm and 1.0μm, is produced by adding an appropriate dispersant after synthesis and then undergoing spray drying. It exhibits stable chemical properties, is non-toxic physiologically, and is insoluble in water and any organic solvents. It is resistant to acids, alkalis, and high temperatures, possesses flame retardant and electrical insulation properties, and provides UV shielding.
Product Usage:
Specifically formulated for PVC profiles, it serves as a partial substitute for titanium dioxide. It acts as a reinforcing filler for PVC, capable of moderately improving the production and processing of PVC while reducing costs.
Features and Benefits:
1. Mixed with titanium dioxide in a certain proportion, it has excellent spatial separation ability with titanium dioxide and PVC particles, good particle size distribution and dispersibility, forming peaks and valleys in profiles to reduce static electricity.
2. Good dispersibility, narrow particle size distribution, and excellent affinity with PVC and titanium dioxide particles, making it easy to mix evenly. This eliminates optical flocculation during extrusion, improves surface smoothness, ensures uniform color on visible surfaces of profiles, smooth and flat finish, and clean edges. It reduces凹凸 (unevenness) and shrinkage marks caused by processing techniques. Enhances toughness. Impact-resistant, anti-aging, and non-yellowing, suitable for calendering.
3. High thermal stability (chemical changes occur above 1580°C), reducing the dimensional change rate of profiles after heating, enhancing stress resistance, and excellent weather resistance. It can be widely used in high-gloss and high-weather-resistance material applications!
Processing requirements:
Mix it with titanium dioxide in a certain proportion, then add it to PVC.
