The inner lining of a wet ball mill is coated with polyurethane.
A wet ball mill is a key piece of equipment for calcination, deagglomeration, and grinding of powders. Currently, the inner lining of the cylinder is mostly made of alumina ceramic bricks, and a certain number of alumina ceramic balls are filled as grinding media to perform wet grinding of the powder. The material is fed into the cylinder through the hollow shaft at the feed end of the ball mill. When the cylinder of the ball mill rotates, the grinding media are thrown off due to their own gravity, and the falling grinding media crush the material inside the cylinder.
The friction between alumina ceramic grinding media and the lining made of the same material in the cylinder will cause alumina loss, and the powder slurry will also be contaminated. If the ceramic grinding media is replaced, the friction between the new media and the ceramic lining of the cylinder will also lead to contamination of the powder slurry.
Our company, leveraging years of expertise in cylinder anti-corrosion lining technology, has applied a polyurethane composite lining to the ball mill cylinder.
Has the following advantages:
● On-site operation: Perform polyurethane lining composite in place without moving or disassembling the electrical and mechanical parts of the ball mill.
● No drilling or perforation of the cylinder body, without altering the configuration of the ball mill;
● The ball mill after composite polyurethane treatment does not require an increase in motor power;
● Long service life after composite polyurethane application, with convenient maintenance and replacement.
● No contamination to materials, long service life;
