White fused alumina micro powder is produced by using high-quality aluminum oxide powder as raw material, which is melted in an electric arc furnace at temperatures exceeding 2000°C and then cooled. It is subsequently crushed, shaped, magnetically separated to remove iron, and sieved into various particle sizes. This material features a dense structure, high hardness, angular particle shapes, high purity, good self-sharpening properties, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, high-temperature resistance, strong cutting ability, excellent chemical stability, and good insulation. Its hardness is slightly higher than that of brown fused alumina, with slightly lower toughness, but it offers strong grinding capability, low heat generation, and high efficiency. It can be used to manufacture grinding tools suitable for fine-grained abrasives for grinding high-carbon steel, high-speed steel, and stainless steel. Additionally, it is applicable in precision casting and advanced refractory materials.
Suitable for manufacturing ceramic and resin-bonded abrasives, as well as for grinding, polishing, sandblasting, precision casting (special corundum for precision casting), and other applications. It can also be used to produce high-grade refractory materials. The code "WA" is consistent with international and national standards.
