Product Performance:
The chemical properties of titanium oxide coatings are also very stable, with heat resistance, oxidation resistance, and resistance to corrosion by most acids, salts, and solvents, while being insoluble in water. They are resistant to sunlight exposure, anti-aging, and possess a strong ability to absorb and scatter ultraviolet rays. With semiconductor characteristics, they can produce efficient electrical and energy conversion effects and have an anti-static effect. Additionally, titanium oxide coatings have high infrared and far-infrared radiation rates, as well as high absorption rates for infrared rays and light.
Product Applications:
Titanium oxide powder can be used to spray coatings through processes such as gas-stabilized plasma spraying, supersonic plasma spraying, supersonic flame spraying, detonation spraying, and powder flame spraying (accelerated by compressed air).
Titanium oxide powder is used as a coating resistant to hard surface wear, adhesive wear, and corrosive wear at temperatures below 538°C, particularly for wear- and corrosion-resistant coatings on titanium and aluminum alloy surfaces. Examples include titanium pump seals, high-pressure pump plungers, and bearing sleeves for tugboat propellers.
