Product Features
① Packaging: 25kg/bag or 1000kg/ton bag;
② Analytical grade ammonium chloride appears as a white powder or granular crystalline substance, odorless, with a salty and cooling taste. It readily absorbs moisture and forms lumps, is easily soluble in water, soluble in glycerol and liquid ammonia, sparingly soluble in ethanol, sublimes at 350°C, and its aqueous solution is weakly acidic.
Application Areas
① Mainly used in fields such as dry batteries, storage batteries, ammonium salts, tanning, electroplating, precision casting, pharmaceuticals, photography, electrodes, and adhesives;
② It can also be used in the production of pharmaceutical-grade ammonium chloride. Analytical-grade ammonium chloride, as a raw material, undergoes purification, impurity removal, and the elimination of sulfate ions and heavy metal ions such as arsenic to produce pharmaceutical-grade ammonium chloride. It has the effects of iron deficiency relief, expectoration, cough suppression, correction of alkalemia, and diuresis. It is used as an expectorant, suitable for the early stages of bronchitis, especially for dry mucous membranes and coughs with thick phlegm that are difficult to expel. It is also used as a diuretic for cardiac or hepatic edema. Additionally, it can enhance the antibacterial effects of tetracycline and penicillin drugs.
