I. Product Introduction
A roll crusher is a common type of crushing equipment, also known as a double roll crusher or roller crusher. It consists of two parallel metal rollers, which are typically equipped with toothed structures. The roll crusher crushes materials by clamping them between the rollers as they rotate in opposite directions.
The roller crusher primarily crushes materials through extrusion and shear forces. The material is fed into the crusher's inlet and then clamped between two rotating rollers. As the rollers rotate, the material is subjected to extrusion, shear, and friction forces, causing it to be crushed into the desired particle size. The rotational speed of the rollers, the tooth structure, and the gap between the rollers can be adjusted based on the material's characteristics and crushing requirements.
II. Working Principle
During operation, the two rollers rotate in opposite directions driven by the motor, generating a squeezing force that instantly crushes the material. The size of the crushed material is determined by the gap between the two rollers: the larger the gap, the coarser the output; the smaller the gap, the finer the output. In addition, the roller crusher has strong self-protection capabilities. If it encounters an unbreakable object, it automatically retreats to promptly expel the foreign material, preventing damage to the equipment and improving work efficiency.
