M-1 Metallographic Specimen Pre-grinding Machine

The M-1 metallographic sample pre-grinding machine uses metallographic sandpaper of different grit sizes to polish samples of various metals and alloys. In addition to replacing manual operation with mechanical polishing to improve sample preparation efficiency, this pre-grinding machine can also completely remove plastic deformation and surface heating marks generated during the sample cutting process, allowing for further polishing and subsequent microstructural examination.
Cooling System
The built-in cooling device can cool the specimen during pre-grinding to prevent damage to the metallographic structure caused by overheating. When the pre-grinder is in operation, cooling water is continuously injected into the rotating grinding disc through a rotary water nozzle. Under the action of atmospheric pressure, the sandpaper can be tightly attached to the grinding disc, eliminating the need to glue or clamp the sandpaper.
Control system
This machine controls the operation of the grinding disc via an on/off switch. When the switch is set to "on," the grinding disc runs, achieving a speed of 700 r/min. When the switch is set to "off," the grinding and polishing disc stops operating.
