The pre-mixed material (material container provided by the buyer) is drawn into the hopper of the dry granulator through a suction adapter and a vacuum feeder. It is then conveyed by a screw feeding device to two rollers, where it is pressed into thin strips. These strips are crushed into small pieces by a crushing mechanism and then processed into granules of the required size through a granulating mechanism. Under the influence of gravity, the granules fall vertically into an oscillating screen for sieving. Qualified granules are collected and stored (material container provided by the buyer). Fine powder is collected in a fine powder transfer hopper and drawn back into the hopper of the dry granulator via a suction adapter and vacuum feeder for repeated pressing as per the above process. A small amount of large granules is collected (PE bag provided by the buyer) and manually added to the crushing mechanism of the dry granulator for re-crushing and granulation.

Specific Technical Requirements for LG-200 Dry Granulator for Single-Component Formula Granule Extract Dry Powder

This URS outlines the technical and service requirements for the proposed purchase of a dry granulator. The supplied equipment must meet, but is not limited to, the following conditions:

Using single-ingredient formula granule dry powders such as Aster, Wine-processed Rhubarb, Charred Hawthorn, Red Peony, Dried Ginger, Codonopsis, and Solomonseal, with an appropriate amount of excipients for trial production. The qualified granule production capacity should be ≥80 kg/h, the one-time yield of 14–40 mesh granules should be ≥60%, and the final yield should be ≥95% (Acceptance is conditional upon at least five varieties meeting the production capacity and yield requirements during trial production).

Qualified granules must have uniform particle size, consistent color, and no caking; solutions and measures to address color difference issues caused by repeated pressing of granules must be provided.

General Requirements for the Single-Component Formula Granule Extract Dry Powder Dry Granulation Machine LG-200

An observation window is installed at an appropriate position on the working chamber of the main unit, allowing observation of the operation processes of the feeding mechanism, roller pressing mechanism, crushing mechanism, and granulating mechanism. Material: tempered borosilicate glass. The outer shell of the working chamber is easy to disassemble and clean.

The panels of the entire machine frame are made of stainless steel material formed in one piece. The thickness of the panels shall ensure sufficient load-bearing strength of the frame, and all panels are joined with full welding.

Components not in contact with materials: Must be made of SUS304 stainless steel. If other materials are used, they must ensure no shedding, no penetration, corrosion resistance, and easy cleaning, and a material certificate must be provided.

Parts in contact with materials: The materials must comply with GMP requirements (specified in the technical proposal), and key components are required to be made of SUS316L stainless steel.

The inner surface is mirror-polished (Ra ≤ 0.4μm), the inner wall weld seams are bright-polished to a smooth finish, and the outer surface is matte-finished (Ra ≤ 0.8μm).

All protruding and recessed parts on both the inner and outer surfaces of the equipment shall be transitioned with rounded arcs or chamfers at an angle of no less than 135 degrees. Fastening methods must not use exposed screws, and all component connections shall adopt quick-install and easy-to-clean designs.

The equipment is easy to disassemble and assemble. After the equipment operator has been trained and qualified by the equipment supplier, all parts that come into contact with materials can be disassembled and cleaned within one hour.
