Iron Oxide Black Disc Dryer PLG-3000×20
In the coarse crushing stage, a mechanical crusher is used. Iron oxide black with a moisture content of approximately 15% directly enters the coarse crusher, where the mechanical action of the crusher reduces the strip-shaped material to a fineness of less than 20 mesh.
In the second drying stage, a disc dryer is used. The coarsely crushed iron oxide black is transported to the disc dryer via a bucket elevator. The material is evenly spread onto the upper disc through a distributor, and a heating medium is introduced into the disc. The material is conveyed and turned over by rakes on the drying disc surface, heated by the drying disc during movement, and undergoes heat and mass transfer to complete the drying process. The water vapor released from the material is discharged by an induced draft fan after passing through a belt-type dust collector. The moisture content of the dried material reaches approximately 1%, and the material is temperature-controlled by the lower disc of the disc dryer to ensure the material temperature does not exceed 50°C. The material exiting the disc dryer is transported via pneumatic conveying to an ultrafine pulverizer for crushing operations.
Characteristics and Applications of Disc Continuous Dryers
1. Mechanical material conveying, continuous production, adjustable processing capacity, reduced labor intensity, good working conditions, and convenient management.
2. High drying efficiency, with the overall heat transfer coefficient typically reaching 240-544 kJ/(m²·h·°C) and an average evaporation intensity of approximately 5-15 kg/(m²·h).
3. Vertical installation, complete insulation, high utilization rate of heat source and heat generation. The power required for this equipment is only about half of that of ordinary dryers, making it economical and feasible.
4. The exhaust gas discharge speed is low, with minimal dust dispersion, meeting the requirements of the third-level emission standard. It improves the working environment and is particularly suitable for processing fine powdery materials, without the need for additional dust removal equipment.
5. The temperature of each heating plate layer is uniform.
