MTA Wet Filter Cake Vacuum Paddle Dryer ZPG-5000
The function of the MTA (mixed terephthalic acid) dryer is to dry the MTA wet filter cake from the extraction filter (51-F01AB).
Remove water, organic solvents, and a small amount of acetic acid from the filter cake, reducing the moisture content from 62.6%–65.0% to below 0.2% (w/w).
This dryer is a rake-type vacuum dryer, where the wet filter cake is gradually dried under steam heating. The dry MTA powder is discharged through the outlet.
Place the discharge dryer.
MTA Dryer Design Conditions
Drying operating conditions: ~ -10 KPag.
Steam conditions: Heating steam specifications for MTA dryer (after control valve): 0.3 MPaG, 143°C.
MTA dryer carrier gas and seal gas conditions: Characteristics and composition of dryer carrier gas and seal gas (v/v%): Oxygen 3.6%,
CO2 ~ 2.0%, the balance is N2, dew point: -40°C at atmospheric pressure, inlet air temperature: 40°C.
MTA Dryer Inlet and Outlet Design Conditions (1)
The MTA dryer is installed in an open-air factory with a humid and corrosive operating environment. The material of the flow-wetted parts of the dryer shall meet the requirements of S31803 or higher.
If scaling occurs during the use of the dryer, leading to reduced heat transfer efficiency, the machine can be shut down for internal cleaning.
After the dryer stops, wait until the temperature drops below 80°C, first clean it with a 5% NaOH solution, then rinse with demineralized water. The design must include cleaning ports and drainage outlets.
Ensure smooth discharge of steam condensate from the MTA dryer.
Vacuum Paddle DryerThis is a novel horizontal batch-type vacuum drying equipment. Wet materials undergo evaporation through conduction, with a scraper stirrer continuously removing material from the heating surface and pushing it within the container to form a circulating flow. After moisture evaporates, it is extracted by a vacuum pump.
