Ceramic-lined mills are a new type of grinding equipment developed to meet the ultra-pure and ultra-fine requirements of non-metallic mineral processing. They are primarily used in grinding systems for high-purity materials such as quartz, alumina, zircon sand, and feldspar.
The main working component is a horizontally placed rotating cylinder mounted on large sliding bearings or rolling bearings at both ends. Inside the chamber, various specifications of grinding media are installed, typically wear-resistant balls made of the same or similar material as the material being crushed. To prevent wear on the cylinder, liners made of the same or similar material as the crushed material are installed on the inner wall of the cylinder and on both end covers. Ceramic liner mills are generally single-chamber. When the mill rotates, the grinding media are driven by the rotation of the cylinder to grind the material.
