One,Working principle of a sterile homogenizerPrinciple and Application

The original state of microbial samples may be blocky, pasty, powdery, etc., and they must be processed into a refined liquid sample to facilitate microbial analysis and inoculation. The working principle of this instrument is as follows: place the original sample (large pieces need to be cut into approximately 10×10mm blocks) along with a certain liquid or solvent into a homogenization bag. The instrument's hammering plate repeatedly strikes the sample homogenization bag, generating pressure, causing oscillation, and accelerating mixing, thereby achieving a uniformly distributed state of microbial components in the solution. This instrument is suitable for the homogenization treatment of tissues such as the brain, kidney, liver, and spleen, as well as microorganisms, and is widely used in fields such as food, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, molecular science, and toxin and bacterial detection.

The homogenization bag, used for storing raw sample materials and solvents, is made of special materials and has been sterilized (users should re-sterilize and disinfect opened homogenization bags to ensure sterility). It is clamped and sealed via the crossbar at the upper edge of the homogenizer door to prevent solution spillage during the pounding of the hammer plate. The homogenizer's pounding plate continuously strikes the homogenization bag, generating pressure that crushes and mixes the sample inside the bag. The homogenization speed can be programmed, with each segment adjustable from 3 to 12 strokes per second, and the homogenization time for each segment can be set from 10 seconds to 600 seconds or for continuous operation. Users can make reasonable selections based on the sample and solvent conditions to achieve optimal homogenization results. For example, for mouse or rat liver, set the timer to 180 seconds and the medium speed to 6–8 strokes per second.

II.Sterile HomogenizerCharacteristics

This instrument greatly simplifies the process of extracting substances such as bacteria and cellular tissues from solid samples. Simply add the sample and diluent into a dedicated sterile sample bag, place it in the homogenizer, close the door, and after a simple setup, it automatically begins the beating and homogenizing process to complete sample processing. The device effectively separates particles contained within and on the surface of solid samples, ensuring uniform mixing and that the sample in the sterile bag is fully representative. The operation is simple, convenient, and time-efficient. Disposable sterile homogenization bags are used, eliminating the need for tedious cleaning after work. Since the sample is contained in a disposable sterile homogenization bag, cross-contamination is effectively prevented, ensuring the safety of the operator.

The control instrument features a large blue LCD screen that simultaneously displays three stages of tapping speed and time, making it bright and aesthetically pleasing.
