Nano silica aqueous dispersion is a nano silica slurry prepared by our company using special processes and dispersants. It exhibits excellent dispersibility and high solid content characteristics, offering greater application advantages over phase silica powder during production. It features convenience in use, no dust pollution, ease of transportation, and simple storage.

Usage method:
(1) Add it together with other fillers during the paint grinding stage, or first disperse it into the aqueous pigment paste before mixing it into the emulsion.
(2) The addition ratio is approximately: 5–10%.

Application Fields, Addition Amount (%), Product Features and Performance:

1、 Water-based coatings, alkyd resin paints:Adding 2.5 to 25 can provide functions such as thickening, thixotropy, anti-settling, anti-sagging, increased strength, enhanced wear resistance, improved weather resistance, and matting.

2、 Acrylic resin paint： 1.5～12.5

3、 Other water-based paints： 2.5～12.5

4、 Water-based wood paint: 5%Matting, reinforcement, increased wear resistance, increased weather resistance.

5、 Water-based color paste: 5%Anti-settlement

6、 Water-based ink: 5%Thickening, thixotropy, anti-settling, improving brightness and contrast

7、 CMPPolishing liquid:Direct use or dilution as required. High solid content, high dispersibility.

8、Paper coatingNano-silica aqueous dispersion, when used as a paper coating, exhibits excellent ink absorption performance.

Adding a small amount of nano-silica to the coating can improve its anti-ultraviolet aging test performance from the original 250 hours to over 600 hours, increase scrub resistance by more than 10 times, significantly reduce drying time, and effectively address issues such as poor suspension stability, poor thixotropy, and low glossiness of the raw materials. The can-opening effect of interior and exterior wall coatings with added nano-silica is also noticeably improved, resulting in non-layering, anti-sagging, good workability, greatly enhanced stain resistance, and excellent self-cleaning properties and adhesion.
