2. VK-L08 offers both acid and alkali resistance and abrasion resistance. It has a high hardness of 6-7H, making it wear-resistant and scratch-resistant. Additionally, it boasts multiple advantages such as abrasion resistance, strong adhesion, and convenient application.
3. The extensive application of nanomaterials, VK-L08 exhibits extremely high barrier properties and very low permeability, preventing the penetration of acids, oxygen, and water vapor.
4. The integration of multiple nanomaterials endows VK-L08 with chemical inertness, thereby providing **exceptional stability** against acids and alkalis. It also exhibits extremely high tolerance even at certain temperatures.
5. High brightness
III. Composition:
The acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, and wear-resistant nano-ceramic coating VK-L08 is a new type of coating material composed of nano-alumina, nano-zirconia, nano-titanium oxide, nano-silicon oxide, etc., which is resistant to acid, corrosion, and high temperatures.
Application Scope:
1. Reaction kettles, storage containers, material tanks, tank trucks, reactors, pipelines, etc., used in machinery, instrumentation, chemical engineering, and related fields;
2. Surface coatings for jewelry, hair clips, etc.;
3. Used for decoration and protective coating of markers such as cement chimneys and steel structure towers. Applied on magnesium-aluminum alloy surfaces.
4. Production and storage of chemical products;
5. Wastewater treatment, aeration tank;
6. Chemical storage areas and tanks; neutralization tanks in wastewater treatment plants;
7. Fermentation tanks for the brewing industry;
8. Exhaust gas emission pipelines and chimneys;
9. Inner lining of large-diameter marine pipelines;
10. Flue gas desulfurization equipment; Storage of combustible organic substances; Fuel oil storage;
11. Pretreatment tanks, electroplating tanks, and cleaning tanks; acid-alkali workshop and warehouse, etc.;
12. Other environments that simultaneously require acid resistance, alkali resistance, heat resistance, and wear resistance.
Construction and Usage Methods:
To ensure the quality of the coating, please carefully read the usage instructions and the coating specifications corresponding to the product.
1. Substrate Treatment:
Before painting, remove oil, residual rust, oxide scale, etc. from the substrate surface. All steel surfaces to be coated must meet the Sa2.5 level requirement. When performing local coating repairs, the steel surface must be ground to the St3 level. The surface roughness should be controlled within the range of 25 to 40 μm.
2. Mix
Mixing Ratio: A (Base Paint) : B (Hardener) = 5:1 (by weight). When mixing, slowly pour Hardener B into Base Paint A while continuously stirring, and stir for approximately 2–5 minutes until evenly mixed. Then it is ready for application. C (Thinner) can be used to adjust viscosity freely; stir evenly and choose the amount of thinner based on your actual needs. Mechanical stirring is recommended.
The sealed shelf life of the mixed coating is 1 to 2 hours. Please plan the usage according to the construction progress.
3. Environmental Conditions
Spray coating should be carried out as soon as possible after substrate treatment, generally not exceeding 4 hours.
4. Coating/Painting
This coating can be applied using brushing, airless spraying, and air-assisted spraying methods. **The first coat should be applied thinly to serve as a transition layer, aiming to improve adhesion between the coating and the substrate. The second coat should be applied approximately 2-3 hours after the first coat becomes surface-dry, with the time slightly extended or shortened depending on the actual temperature and humidity.
The drying method can be chosen according to the construction conditions.
At 25°C, air-dry naturally with a light breeze for 4-8 hours, and fully dry in 24 hours.
B: Dry at 60°C for 0.5-1 hour. For high hardness and strong corrosion resistance, B drying is recommended.
5. After use, A, B, and C should have their unused portions immediately sealed tightly to prevent the substances inside from volatilizing or condensing, which could cause them to thicken and shorten their shelf life.
