Surface-treated calcium carbonate is primarily used as a functional filler in plastics and rubber. Due to the differences in surface or interfacial properties between inorganic powder fillers and polymers, their compatibility is poor, making it difficult to achieve uniform dispersion in the matrix. Direct or excessive filling often leads to a decline in certain mechanical properties of the material. Therefore, in addition to particle size distribution requirements, the surface of calcium carbonate must be treated to improve its physicochemical properties, enhance compatibility and dispersibility with organic polymers, and improve the mechanical strength and overall performance of composite materials. Our company currently produces four main series of surface-treated calcium carbonate: **H10 Series Surface-Treated Calcium Carbonate:** Appearance: White powder, whiteness ≥ 95%, oil absorption < 16, moisture < 0.15%, hydrophobic and lipophilic. This series of calcium carbonate products exhibits excellent dispersibility in plastic polymer matrices. Under increased filling amounts, it reduces the melt viscosity of the system, which is highly beneficial for improving mechanical properties such as impact strength in plastics. It is suitable for filling and modifying plastics such as PVC, PP, and PE. Products with particle sizes ranging from 600 to 3000 mesh can be prepared according to customer requirements. **H20 Series Surface-Treated Calcium Carbonate:** Appearance: White powder, whiteness ≥ 96%, oil absorption < 16, moisture < 0.15%, hydrophobic and lipophilic. This series of calcium carbonate products features high whiteness and good dispersibility, significantly enhancing the mechanical properties and heat resistance of composite systems. It is primarily used in various soft, hard, and foamed products made of polyvinyl chloride and polyurethane, as well as in extrusion and injection molding products of plastics such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Products with particle sizes ranging from 600 to 3000 mesh can be prepared according to different customer requirements. **H30 Series Surface-Treated Calcium Carbonate:** Appearance: White powder, whiteness ≥ 94%, oil absorption < 16, moisture < 0.15%, hydrophobic and lipophilic. This series of calcium carbonate products is surface-treated with composite modifiers. When used in plastic profiles and pipes, it can significantly increase the filling amount of calcium carbonate, improve processing performance and production efficiency, and notably enhance impact resistance, tensile strength, flexibility, and gloss of the products. PP blown film filling masterbatch made with this type of calcium carbonate can greatly increase the filling amount and reduce product costs. Products with particle sizes ranging from 600 to 3000 mesh can be prepared according to different customer requirements. **H40 Series Surface-Treated Calcium Carbonate:** Appearance: White powder, whiteness ≥ 95%, oil absorption < 16, moisture < 0.15%, hydrophobic and lipophilic. This series of calcium carbonate products is surface-treated with fatty acids, significantly improving the processing performance of plastic products, enhancing production efficiency, and increasing surface gloss. It can be widely used in PVC and other plastic products. Products with particle sizes ranging from 400 to 3000 mesh can be prepared according to different customer requirements.
