Product Performance:
Yttria-stabilized zirconia (ZrO2-8%Y2O3) is formed by incorporating yttria (Y2O3) into zirconia crystals, resulting in a zirconia composed of fully stabilized cubic crystals and unstabilized monoclinic crystals, known as "partially stabilized zirconia." By controlling the ratio of stabilized to unstabilized phases, a zirconia coating with a relatively low average thermal expansion coefficient, excellent thermal shock resistance, and long service life can be achieved. Only after spraying does ZrO2 become stabilized by Y2O3, exhibiting good high-temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, and insulation properties. It is a thermal barrier coating widely used in jet engine combustion chambers and flame nozzles, rocket flame nozzles, turbine combustion chambers, and wing components, with an operating temperature of <1250°C.
Product Applications:
1. Protective coatings for heated components of aviation, marine, and land-based gas turbines, engine combustion chambers; rocket nozzles, civilian internal combustion engines, turbochargers, and heat treatment annealing furnaces.
2. High-temperature resistant protective coatings for graphite products, and high-temperature oxidation-resistant protective coatings for fixtures used in powder metallurgy sintering, brazing, etc.
