Industrial sulfur

Industrial sulfur is an important chemical product and basic industrial raw material, widely used in industries such as chemicals, light industry, pesticides, rubber, dyes, and papermaking. Solid industrial sulfur comes in forms such as lumps, powders, granules, and flakes, and appears yellow or light yellow. Sulfur contains a large amount of arsenic, which can easily cause renal insufficiency and failure, polyneuritis, and liver function damage. It is strictly prohibited for oral consumption. Since sulfur combines with oxygen to produce sulfur dioxide, which has bleaching properties, unscrupulous traders primarily use sulfur fumigation to bleach or whiten food. Additionally, sulfur has bactericidal effects, so it can be used to prevent food spoilage and extend shelf life.
