Spray dryer wall adhesion generally occurs in the following three situations:

1. Semi-wet material wall adhesion: The cause is that the sprayed droplets come into contact with the wall before reaching surface dryness, thus sticking to it. The location of adhesion is generally on the plane corresponding to the trajectory of the droplets sprayed by the atomizer, and is related to the structure of the atomizer and the movement state of the hot air inside the tower.

2. Hot-melt adhesion of low-melting-point materials: The cause is that the material reaches its melting point at a certain temperature, begins to melt, becomes sticky, and adheres to the vessel wall.

3. Surface adhesion of dry powder: When dry powder moves in a confined space, some of it will inevitably come into contact with the container walls. This is unavoidable, but such adhesion is generally not thick and can be removed by blowing air or gently tapping. *The simplest solution is to polish the inner wall, which can address this issue to some extent.

Methods to prevent wall sticking:

1. Use a double-wall drying tower with air cooling between the walls to maintain the wall temperature below 50°C. 2. Introduce secondary air tangentially through the swirling air slots on the tower wall to cool the wall. 3. Install an air broom composed of a row of nozzles near the inner wall of the tower, allowing it to rotate slowly along the wall. 4. Add air hammers to the tower wall, using their impact to forcibly dislodge material adhering to the wall. 5. Improve the machining precision of the equipment, and polishing the inner wall of the tower can also reduce material adhesion.
