Graphene oxide is an oxide of graphene, appearing in a brownish-yellow color. Common commercial forms include powder, flakes, and solutions. Due to oxidation, it contains an increased number of oxygen-containing functional groups, making it more reactive than graphene. Its properties can be enhanced through various reactions involving these oxygen-containing functional groups.
Graphene oxide flakes are the product of chemical oxidation and exfoliation of graphite powder. Graphene oxide is a single atomic layer that can be extended laterally to tens of micrometers. Therefore, its structure spans the typical scales of general chemistry and materials science. Graphene oxide can be regarded as a non-traditional form of soft material, exhibiting properties of polymers, colloids, thin films, and amphiphilic molecules. Graphene oxide has long been considered hydrophilic due to its excellent dispersibility in water. However, relevant experimental results show that graphene oxide is actually amphiphilic, with a distribution of properties ranging from hydrophilic at the edges to hydrophobic at the center of the graphene flakes. Thus, graphene oxide can exist at interfaces like a surfactant and reduce interfacial energy. Its hydrophilicity is widely recognized.

Packaging and Storage
This product is packaged in inert gas-filled plastic bags and should be stored sealed in a dry, cool environment. It should not be exposed to air to prevent moisture-induced oxidative agglomeration, which may affect dispersion performance and usage effectiveness.
