Technical Features of the PLG Series Disc Continuous Dryer:
1. Drying board
(1) Design pressure: typically 0.4 MPa, can reach up to 1.6 MPa.
(2) Working pressure: generally less than 0.4 MPa, with a maximum of 1.6 MPa.
(3) Heating medium: steam, fumaric acid dryer, hot water, fumaric acid drying equipment, oil. When the drying plate temperature is 100°C, hot water can be used; when it is 100°C–150°C, saturated steam ≤0.4 MPa or steam gas can be used; and when it is 150°C–320°C, oil can be used.
2. Material Transfer System
(1) Drying main unit: 1–10 revolutions, timed electromagnetism of the transducer.
(2) Arms: 2 to 8 arms are fixed at the opening and closing of each level.
(3) Rake blades: The blades of the perimeter rake maintain contact with the plate surface by floating up and down. Additionally, there are various types.
(4) Roller: To prevent product caking or to meet grinding requirements, heat transfer and drying processes may be enhanced by placing roller(s) in appropriate position(s).
3. There are three types to choose from: atmospheric pressure, sealed, and vacuum.
(1) Normal pressure:
(2) Sealing: Cylindrical shell, fumaric acid dryer design, capable of withstanding an internal pressure of 5 kPa. The main pipes for the inlet and outlet of the heating medium may be located inside or outside the shell.
(3) Vacuum degree: Cylindrical shell, capable of withstanding an external pressure of 0.1 MPa. The main inlet and outlet pipelines are inside the shell.
4. Air Heater:
The normal application of a disc dryer with high evaporation capacity is used to improve drying efficiency.
