Material quantity: 900 kg/h yeast cell wall drum scraper dryer
Our company intends to launch a yeast cell wall drying project and is specifically inquiring about the drum scraper dryer, with the detailed parameters as follows:
Material quantity: 900 kg/h, dry matter concentration: 17%, drum surface chrome-plated, scraper adjustable, no dead corners; equipped with a grinder, screw conveyor, and 1 m³ storage tank (all parts of the above equipment that come into contact with the material are made of 304 stainless steel).
Working principle
A drum dryer is an internally heated, conduction-type rotary drying equipment. Wet material on the outer wall of the drum receives heat transferred through conduction, removing moisture to achieve the required moisture content. Heat is transferred from the inner wall of the drum to the outer wall and then through the material film, resulting in high thermal efficiency and continuous operation. Therefore, it is widely used for drying liquid or strip materials, and is particularly suitable for paste-like and viscous materials. It can be divided into two types: single-drum and double-drum dryers. Additionally, it can be classified by operating pressure into atmospheric and reduced-pressure types.
Features and Applications
High operational flexibility and wide adaptability, capable of meeting the requirements of various materials and different production volumes.
High thermal efficiency, generally ranging from approximately 80% to 90%.
Short drying time: The wet material film formed on the outer wall of the drum at the start of drying is typically 0.5–1.5 mm, and the entire drying cycle takes only 10–15 seconds, making it especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials.
High Drying Rate: Due to the thin material film and the consistent direction of heat and mass transfer, the surface of the material film can maintain an evaporation intensity of 30–70 kg·H₂O/(m²·h).
Widely used in food, meat products, yeast, starch, chemical products, dairy products, and more.
