The motor drives the mill cylinder to rotate at an appropriate speed through gear transmission and reduction. The grinding media inside the cylinder are lifted to a certain height under the combined effects of centrifugal force, friction, and gravity, and then fall in a parabolic or dropping manner. The materials inside the cylinder are crushed by the impact of the media, while also being ground and abraded due to the rolling or sliding motion of the media. The ground materials are discharged through the outlet. Depending on requirements, the mill can be equipped with an air clutch, a slow-speed drive device, a jacking device, a spray lubrication device, etc. The main bearing of the ball mill can adopt ordinary sliding bearings, dynamic-static pressure bearings, static pressure bearings, or rolling bearings as needed.
1. Large ball mills are equipped with a lifting device for easy maintenance.
2. Large ball mills are equipped with a slow-speed drive to facilitate maintenance and startup.
3. The large and small gears of the large ball mill adopt oil mist lubrication, ensuring reliable lubrication of the gears, extending their service life, and saving lubricating oil.
4. Large ball mills are equipped with air clutches and adopt soft start to reduce the significant impact on the power grid of the concentrator during startup.
