Drum Magnetic Separator

This machine is used to separate magnetic and non-magnetic materials from the raw material supplied on the roller.
Magnetic materials are adsorbed onto the surface of the drum, transported by the rotation of the drum, and discharged from the magnetic material outlet.
Non-magnetic materials deviate from the drum surface and fall, then are discharged through the non-magnetic material outlet.
To ensure a uniform and quantitative supply of the effective width of the magnetic drum, a model with a vibrating feeder can also be produced.
In addition, high-speed rotating models that use FRP rollers instead of stainless steel rollers can be manufactured, as well as combined electromagnetic and permanent magnet models suitable for large-scale magnetic material recovery.

Machine structure

A **magnet** is placed inside the drum, creating a magnetic field over approximately half of its circumference.
The shaft supporting the internal magnet assembly is fixed, allowing only the outer drum to rotate.
The position of the magnetic poles and the angle of the separation plate can be arbitrarily adjusted according to the processing conditions.
The drum is driven and rotated by a reduction motor via a sprocket.
