  • Product Introduction

Bismuth oxide is primarily used in the chemical industry (such as chemical reagents and bismuth salt manufacturing), the glass industry (mainly for coloring), the electronics industry (electronic ceramics, etc.), and other industries (such as fireproof paper manufacturing and nuclear reactor fuel). Among these, the electronics industry is the most widely applied sector for bismuth oxide, mainly used in varistors, thermistors, zinc oxide arresters, and cathode ray tubes. The field of electronic ceramic powder materials is a mature yet dynamic area of bismuth oxide application. As an important additive in electronic ceramic powder materials, bismuth oxide typically requires a purity of over 99.5%, which imposes high demands on the processing equipment for bismuth oxide powder materials. Currently, the industry commonly usesFluidized Bed Jet MillThe preparation of this raw material, after practical application in multiple scenarios, has shown that the fluidized bed jet mill can achieve a relatively fine particle size while effectively maintaining high purity when processing bismuth oxide.

A method for preparing ultrafine bismuth oxide powder using a fluidized bed jet mill. The method involves adding coarse bismuth particles into the grinding chamber of a fluidized bed jet mill, using high-speed airflow as the working medium. The airflow is pressurized through a nozzle to form a jet stream at a velocity of 300-400 m/s, which is injected into the grinding chamber, causing the coarse bismuth to undergo simultaneous oxidation and grinding. The resulting oxidized and ground material is carried by the airflow into a rotor classifier for classification, yielding bismuth oxide powder with an average particle size of 2-2.5 micrometers.
Fluidized Bed Jet MillWhen processing bismuth oxide materials, there is minimal contact between the raw materials and the equipment, thus maintaining the purity of the raw materials. Additionally, the fluidized bed jet mill can further eliminate sources of contamination by changing the equipment material or adding liners.
