Measurement Principle

  • Dynamic contact angle measurementBy measuring the dynamic contact angle of solids as they move from air to water or from water to air, the hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity and aggregation reorganization behavior of surface molecular chains are evaluated.

  • Wilhelmy plate methodUsing the "Wilhelmy plate method" as the measurement principle for dynamic contact angles, the sample is thinly coated onto a cover glass, immersed into the liquid at a constant speed, and then pulled out. A high-sensitivity load detector is used to measure the tension.
