I. Product Introduction:
The roller crusher, also known as the double-roller crusher, twin-roll crusher, or roller machine, is used for medium and fine crushing of raw materials such as coal, coal gangue, coke, limestone, sulfur ore, and phosphate ore. Its crushing method is based on roller-to-roller extrusion.
Roll crushers are widely used in fields such as mineral processing, chemical engineering, cement, refractory materials, abrasives, and building materials. Particularly in the building materials industry, they achieve superior results compared to ordinary crushing machinery when crushing products like pea gravel and mung bean sand.
II.Working Principle of Roll Crusher
1. The roller crusher is mainly composed of rollers, roller support bearings, pressing and adjusting devices, and a driving device.
2. Adjustment of discharge particle size: A wedge or shim adjustment device is installed between the two rollers. The top of the wedge device is equipped with an adjustment bolt. When the adjustment bolt lifts the wedge upward, the wedge pushes the movable roller away from the fixed roller, increasing the gap between the two rollers and resulting in a larger discharge particle size. When the wedge moves downward, the movable roller, under the action of the compression spring, reduces the gap between the two rollers, leading to a smaller discharge particle size. The shim device adjusts the discharge particle size by increasing or decreasing the number or thickness of the shims. When shims are added, the gap between the two rollers increases; when shims are reduced, the gap decreases, resulting in a smaller discharge particle size.
3. The driving mechanism consists of an electric motor that transmits power to the grooved pulley via a V-belt, which then drives the rollers to rotate in opposite directions. During the crushing process, materials enter through the feed port, pass between the rollers, and are crushed by compression. The crushed finished product is discharged from the bottom of the frame.
4. For safety, the transmission part should be equipped with a safety cover based on the actual situation.
