I. Overview of the Experimental Jaw Crusher:

The experimental jaw crusher (commonly referred to as the jaw crusher) is primarily used for medium-sized crushing of various ores and large materials. It can crush materials with a compressive strength of no more than 320 MPa and is available in two types: coarse crushing and fine crushing. The PE series jaw crusher comes in a complete range of specifications, with feed particle sizes ranging from 125mm to 1200mm, making it an ideal choice for primary crushing. This equipment is mainly used for coarse, medium, and fine crushing of various ores such as limestone, calcium carbide, calcium carbide slag, shale, basalt, river pebbles, and bluestone. It demonstrates significant effectiveness in cement plants, sand and gravel plants, stone processing plants, desulfurization in thermal power plants, and calcium carbide plants. It is widely applied in industries such as mining, metallurgy, chemical engineering, building materials, water conservancy, and transportation.

II. Working Principle of the Experimental Jaw Crusher:

The main structure of the experimental jaw crusher consists of a frame, eccentric shaft, large pulley, flywheel, side guard plate, toggle plate, toggle plate seat, gap adjustment screw, reset spring, fixed jaw plate, and movable jaw plate, among which the toggle plate also serves as a safety device. This series of jaw crushers operates on a curved extrusion crushing principle. The motor drives the belt and pulley, causing the movable jaw to move up and down through the eccentric shaft. When the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw increases, pushing the movable jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate. At the same time, the material undergoes multiple crushing actions such as squeezing, rubbing, and grinding. When the movable jaw descends, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw decreases, and the movable jaw plate moves away from the fixed jaw plate under the action of the tie rod and spring. At this point, the crushed material is discharged from the lower outlet of the crushing chamber. As the motor continuously rotates, the movable jaw of the crusher performs periodic crushing and discharging, enabling batch production.

IV. Performance Characteristics of the Experimental Jaw Crusher:

1. The crushing ratio is as high as approximately 15, with uniform particle size;

2. The gasket-type discharge opening adjustment device offers a wide adjustment range and reliable operation.

3. High production efficiency and low energy consumption. Compared with ordinary fine jaw crushers, the processing capacity is increased by 20-35% for the same specifications, while energy consumption is reduced by 15-20%.

4. Deep crushing chamber enhances feeding capacity and output.

5. The use of hyperboloid jaw plates results in less wear. Under the same process conditions, the service life of the jaw plates can be extended by more than 3-4 times, with even more significant effects for highly abrasive materials.

6. The lubrication system is safe and reliable, with easy component replacement and minimal maintenance workload.
