Small-scale trial of the feeding system for the western medicine dry granulation machine:

1. The hopper is equipped with high and low level limit controls for material addition. The material level limits control the feeding of the material loader, ensuring stable material capacity in the hopper, thereby guaranteeing consistency in material feeding during production operations. (A long strip-shaped sight glass is required at the 1/2 position of the hopper.)

2. The hopper is equipped with a built-in stirring device to ensure smooth airflow discharge, prevent clogging of channels and bridging caused by material agglomeration, and the speed is adjustable.

3. A sight hole should be provided at the 1/2 position of the hopper for easy observation.

4. The feeding system shall adopt a horizontal feeding mechanism and be equipped with measures to prevent bridging (material blockage), clogging, and slipping during feeding. No abnormal conditions such as bridging, clogging, or feeding slipping shall occur during production and operation.

5. The feeding device delivers powder into the extrusion wheel. The screw speed is controlled by variable frequency drive and a variable frequency motor, matching production operations, and is equipped with overvoltage protection. 6. The feeding device is equipped with an exhaust system to ensure the tablets are formed regularly and meet production output requirements. The exhaust vents must prevent powder from being sucked away or clogged.

7. The spiral feed shaft should not have rigid contact with the cylinder wall.
