A rake dryer is a horizontal batch-type vacuum drying equipment, with a cylindrical middle section and a feed port (also serving as a manhole) at the top. The container is divided into three layers, with the middle jacket heating medium being either steam or circulating thermal oil. The insulation layer is made of aluminum silicate, offering excellent thermal insulation. Materials are placed in the inner drum, where they are raked by rake teeth and heated through the cylinder wall. Under vacuum conditions, the materials undergo rotary drying, which accelerates the drying process, prevents surface yellowing during drying, and significantly shortens the drying time.

The rake dryer ordered by the customer this time is mainly used for drying pharmaceutical intermediates. The equipment is made entirely of carbon steel, with jacket heating, spindle heating, and double-end mechanical seals. Previously, the company had already ordered multiple drying units from our company and established a good supply relationship. This collaboration will further strengthen the ties between the two companies.
