The laboratory horizontal sand mill is a high-performance wet grinding equipment developed by our company to meet the needs of universities, research institutions, and factory laboratories. It is suitable for grinding medium to low viscosity fluids. The equipment features a digital speed display (0~3000rpm) and stepless frequency conversion speed regulation, allowing for long-term operation with stable performance and low noise. It uses imported wear-resistant pure zirconia beads, offering advantages such as high grinding efficiency, fine particle size, wide application range, and excellent wear resistance. It is the most widely used laboratory grinding equipment on the market.

Product Features

High grinding efficiency, good product fineness.

The powerful kinetic energy drives the zirconia agitator to cause irregular movement of the grinding media in the chamber, resulting in high-speed collisions and friction between them, which rapidly reduces the particle size of the powder. Zirconia beads of 1.4-1.6mm can be selected for good grinding fineness.

Easy to operate

The equipment is equipped with a frequency converter, allowing direct control of startup and speed adjustment. The material to be ground is manually poured into the feed hopper. The equipment features a self-circulation function; once the machine is started, the grinding process can be completed. After grinding, the material can be discharged from the discharge port at the bottom of the grinding chamber.

Low temperature rise, stable product performance.

The ingredient tank and grinding chamber are equipped with cooling water jackets. During operation, cooling water is circulated to achieve an excellent cooling effect, with a typical temperature rise of less than 10°.

Long service life

The whole machine is made of stainless steel, ensuring durability, easy cleaning, and hygiene.

The motor of the laboratory horizontal sand mill drives the internal feeding device to rotate at high speed, creating negative pressure. Through self-priming action, the material in the upper tank is drawn in and sent to the grinding chamber. The high-filling-rate grinding media in the chamber are driven by the rotating disc to generate forces in various directions and move irregularly. The particles in the material are continuously collided and rubbed by the grinding media. Meanwhile, the screen separates the material from the grinding media. The material circulates continuously from the tank to the grinding chamber, achieving the goal of reducing particle size and narrowing the particle size range. The material tank and jacket can be equipped with a cooling device to ultimately ensure high-quality products.

Production capacity: 0.6L-5L

Applicable Materials: Materials with a viscosity below 5000cps and requiring high grinding fineness, such as latex paint, industrial paint, color paste, water-based ink, pesticide suspension concentrate, lithium battery slurry, and thousands of other materials.

Application: Suitable for the dispersion and grinding of product materials in industries such as biology, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food, coatings, inks, color pastes, dyes, and pesticides.
