Product Overview
The standard three-roll mill is suitable for dispersing pastes or high-viscosity materials that require a high degree of fineness. The machine achieves the grinding effect through the mutual extrusion of the surfaces of three horizontally arranged rollers, with the gap between the rollers adjusted manually via a handwheel, and friction at different speeds. It can be equipped with an emergency stop button to prevent equipment damage caused by foreign objects falling in. The rollers are made of special hard alloy casting, or ceramic material can also be used.
Product Features
This equipment consists of three rollers mounted on a frame and directly driven by an electric motor. Generally, the rotation directions of the rollers differ: the front roller rotates forward, while the middle roller rotates backward. The front roller has a higher rotational speed, and the rear roller has a lower speed. The middle roller is fixed, while the front and rear rollers are installed on slide rails with a spring mechanism. The distance between the front and rear rollers and the middle roller is adjusted using a handwheel. Material enters between the rear roller and the middle roller, where it is compressed by the rollers, resulting in finer particles. The material is then carried out by the fast-rotating roller, at the end of which a scraper is installed to separate the material from the roller, allowing it to fall into a collection bucket. Since the grinding process generates a significant amount of heat, the center of each roller is designed as a hollow structure to allow water cooling, ensuring product quality.。
