Working principle

Wet materials are transported to the hopper via a belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then enter the feeding end through the feeding pipe via the hopper's feeder. The inclination of the feeding pipe must be greater than the natural angle of repose of the materials to ensure smooth flow into the dryer. The dryer drum is a rotating cylinder slightly inclined relative to the horizontal line. Materials are fed from the higher end, while the heat carrier enters from the lower end, creating a countercurrent contact with the materials. Alternatively, the heat carrier and materials may flow concurrently into the drum. The inner wall of the drum is equipped with lifting plates, which scoop up and then scatter the materials, increasing the contact surface between the materials and the airflow, thereby enhancing the drying rate and promoting the forward movement of the materials. After drying, the materials fall from the discharge outlet onto the conveyor belt and are transported into the finished product warehouse.
