Technical Features

◆The background magnetic field strength is high. The low-temperature superconducting magnetic separator uses coils made of Nb-Ti superconducting material, achieving a magnetic field strength of 5.5T. In contrast, the field strength of conventional magnetic separators is generally less than 2T, making the low-temperature superconducting magnetic separator 2 to 5 times stronger.
◆Strong magnetic force: Under a background field strength of 5.5T, the surface of the magnetic medium in the sorting chamber generates a very strong magnetic force, effectively separating weakly magnetic impurities, significantly improving the quality of non-metallic minerals, and meeting the requirements of high-end products.
◆ Zero liquid helium evaporation, with a 1.5W/4.2K refrigerator providing continuous cooling to prevent liquid helium from evaporating outside the magnet, ensuring the total amount of liquid helium remains unchanged. No need to replenish liquid helium for three years, reducing maintenance costs.
◆ Low energy consumption: The superconducting magnetic separator utilizes low-temperature superconducting technology. Once the coil reaches a superconducting state, its resistance becomes zero. After a single excitation, the power supply is cut off, and the current in the coil forms a closed loop, consuming no electrical energy. Only the refrigerator maintaining the magnet's low-temperature state operates, saving 90% of electricity compared to conventional conductive magnets.
◆ Short excitation time, less than 0.5 hours.
◆ The dual-cylinder alternating sorting and rinsing allows continuous operation without demagnetization, thereby improving production efficiency. The processing capacity for kaolin reaches up to 100 tons of dry ore per day, which is approximately 5 to 10 times that of electromagnetic separators with the same efficiency.
◆ Use high-temperature superconducting current leads to reduce heat loss.
◆ Fully controlled by a microcomputer, with parameters that can be collected in real time, which is beneficial for production control and quality control.
◆ The total weight of the machine is only 15 tons, and the magnet has a lifespan of over 20 years.
