Technical Features

The 1.5T superconducting magnet for nuclear magnetic resonance imaging is the core component of an MRI system, with its magnetic field strength, stability, and uniformity significantly impacting MRI image quality. The 1.5T superconducting magnet designed and developed by our company features a reasonable structure, utilizing 4K recondensing liquid helium recovery technology and an optimized Dewar structure design to achieve "zero liquid helium evaporation," greatly reducing liquid helium usage and maintenance costs. The optimized multi-coil combination structure enables a high-uniformity initial magnetic field, with a central field strength of 1.5±0.015T and an initial uniformity of <400ppm. After passive shimming, the uniformity can reach below 2ppm, fully meeting the conditions for high-quality imaging. The advanced coil impregnation process ensures extremely high coil stability. After excitation, the 5Gs line fringe field range is ≤4m in the axial direction and ≤2.5m in the radial direction. The coil employs mature superconducting joint and thermally controlled superconducting switch manufacturing processes, resulting in a magnetic field decay rate of <0.05ppm/h.
