Application
Flake graphite is widely used in advanced refractory materials and coatings in the metallurgical industry, such as magnesia-carbon bricks and crucibles. In the military industry, it serves as a stabilizer for pyrotechnic materials; in the smelting industry, it is used as a desulfurization and speed-increasing agent; in the light industry, it is used for pencil leads; in the electrical industry, it is used for carbon brushes; in the battery industry, it is used for electrodes; and in the fertilizer industry, it is used as a catalyst. Through further processing, flake graphite can also be used to produce graphite emulsion, which is applied in lubricants, mold release agents, wire drawing agents, and conductive coatings. Additionally, it can be used to produce expanded graphite, which serves as a raw material for flexible graphite products, such as flexible graphite seals and flexible graphite composite material products.
