ZXQ-2S Automatic Metallographic Specimen Mounting Press

The ZXQ-2S automatic metallographic specimen mounting machine is a multifunctional water-cooled mounting machine designed for mounting various specimens. It is suitable for specimens that are difficult to handle by hand, such as small samples, irregularly shaped specimens requiring edge protection, or specimens that need automatic grinding and polishing. Specimen mounting is an essential process in these cases. It also facilitates the determination of microstructures under a metallographic microscope.

Control system:

This machine is a fully automatic metallographic specimen mounting press, featuring water inlet and outlet cooling functions. It is suitable for hot mounting of all materials (thermosetting and thermoplastic). After setting the mounting parameters such as heating temperature, holding time, and applied force, place the specimen and mounting material, close the cover, and press the start button. The mounting process will be completed automatically, eliminating the need for an operator to remain by the machine.

Inlay capability:

The ZXQ-2S automatic metallographic sample mounting machine allows users to freely select and replace molds of four different specifications according to the requirements of different samples. It can also press two samples simultaneously, doubling its preparation capacity.
