Scope of ApplicationThe rod mill is named after the grinding media loaded in the cylinder, which are steel rods. Typically, the rod mill adopts a wet overflow type and can be used as a primary open-circuit grinding mill. It is widely applied in the primary grinding of artificial stone sand, mineral processing plants, and chemical plants in the power sector.
◆The output of a rod mill is closely related to the feeding and discharging methods. To achieve the desired output, a forced feeding method must be adopted, which differs significantly from the spiral feeder feeding method used in iron ore mills. Our rod mill employs a forced feeding mode. Additionally, there is no discharge spiral at the discharge end, ensuring that materials pass through the rod mill quickly.
◆ The output of the rod mill is also closely related to the ratio of grinding media rods. Based on the characteristics of quartz sand, we selected a scientific and reasonable ratio of media rods to ensure the mill's output.
◆ The discharge port of the rod mill has been redesigned. For quartz sand materials, the size of the rod mill discharge port can be adjusted, increasing the effective grinding space and enhancing the mill's output. Through the above methods, we can stabilize the mill's output at over 40 T/h.
